World Malaria Day (25.04.2023) program was conducted by Sresakthimayeil Institute of Nursing and Research in Komarapalayam (part of the JKKN Educational Institution) in Senthurraja Hall at 2 pm. The program commenced with a prayer song, and our Principal Mrs. Jamunarani, M.Sc., Ph.D. inaugurated the event and honored the chief guest. Which is was followed by our chief guest, Dr. S. Karthika praveen.MBBS.FID,CCEBDM., gave a speech about the eradication of malaria, in line with the theme of the year 2023 (REACHING THE ZERO MALARIA TARGET). After the speech, certificates were distributed to winners of poster presentation. Finally, our students delivered the vote of thanks, and we concluded the event with the national anthem.
Learning outcome :
Students gained knowledge about world malaria day celebration related information, developed desirable attitude towards it and were able to practice whatever they gained during that session.
